Jan 2004
The week after Christmas was a period of unwinding. For a Christmas present, we decided to purchase a washer/dryer and two awnings from Camping World. (They were on sale and installation was 50% off) So we set-up an appointment for January 3rd. (Which just happens to be Don's 59th birthday.) I couldn't think of a better place to have dinner out than Don's favorite, Cracker Barrel. One is located adjacent to Camping World and Lazy Days RV Center off Route 4. It's really handy that they let you dry-camp in the parking lots.

"H a p p y N e w Y e a r"
For January we're just taking one-day-at-a-time. Enjoying the warm sunny days and walks in the park. I guess this is a month of rest and rejuvenation. Di is going to physical therapy three times a week and I go to the local fitnes center . We are both getting ready to head west on our next adventure.

The real thing
We really enjoyed our stay at Mt. Olive Shores. Especially the
chance to visit with Don's brother and sister-in-law (Ray & Dot)
from Connecticut. The location is ideal for any day-trips to Orlando or Tampa (both only about 40 miles away)
While recuperating, we still managed some fun time. Disney's Universal Studios
City Walk is a really great experience with a variety of music in nightclubs. Especially fun was dining at Jimmy Buffet's
"Margaritaville."
