Reflections.... ..
We've been on the road for three years now. Our camping experiences have ranged from challenging to beyond expectations . Along the way, we've stayed at resorts/campgrounds, purchased several items to enhance our RV lifestyle, and enjoyed regional foods all over the country. Here are a few of our favorites.......
(August 2003) Piper bringing in the tide at the Flower Pots at the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick, CA
(June 2004) Don fly-fishing the Siviere River in Panguitch, Utah
As we traveled problems came up that had to be resolved. To increase the low-signal on our Verizon cell phone, we purchased
a trucker's antenna at a Flying J in Washington. For an easier way to locate WiFi hot-spots, we purchased a WiFi booster at a Winnebago
Rally in Forest City, IA. We've customized our coach by installing an "Amish-built" computer station in Napanee, Indiana. (See
picture at right.) Our standard mattress went out, and an air-bed was installed for better sleep.
(Nov 2005) Mountain Lakes RV Resort in Lytle Creek, California
We've dined at several great eateries and our favorites so far are Chipotle's (southwestern fare) and Iver's (chowder house) in Seattle, Washington. Of coarse our all-time favorite continues to be...soup-salad-breadsticks at Olive Garden for $5.99! Can't beat the price! Second place goes to Bubba's BBQ in Jackson Hole, Wyoming..
More to come as we travel on.............

Our latest purchase in 2006 was the Hughes/Direcway internet satellite system and a 17" monitor to compliment our
desktop computer which we'll be buying next year (2007). Don recently
purchased a new Garmin Steetpilot C-330 navigator which will assist
us in manuevering around unfamiliar cities with high traffic.
