Our travels have taken us to San Antonio, Texas for the holidays. It has always been important to us to spend this time of the year with our loved ones. We wish everyone we know...peace and good health in 2008.
We secured a monthly campsite at Greentree Village RV Resort off Interstate 35 in San Antonio, Texas. While here we used the time to reorganize our new coach, correct a few unresloved issues, take care of annual doctor's appointments, and get ready for our six week trip into Mexico beginning February 1st, 2008.
Most important we spent the holidays with our daughter's family and with our son, Mark, who flew in from Massachusetts for 10 days. My sister, Gay Ingram, from Big Sandy, Texas joined us for a week to visit and do a book-signing in Austin for her recently released publication of "Living With A Depressed Husband."
As always, the holidays went by swiftly but we did manage to visit the River Walk in downtown San Antonio, spent the day with our grandson at the San Antonio Zoo, and we even located our very first apartment outside of Fort Sam Houston where Don was stationed in 1969.
