January 2008

Our grandson turned three on January 9th. This visit we've noticed Brandon is growing up so fast and being away most of the year makes it hard to keep up with the changes. Thank goodness Jennifer and Brandon visit us in different locations during the year. I will also try to fly down to San Antonio at least once to stay in touch. It's that important!

So here we are in Casa Grande, Arizona (Jan 21st-30th) getting ready for our trip into Mexico on February 1st. We have to obtain liability insurance, fill prescriptions, stock up on certain items for six weeks, visit my sister Angie and family who live in Phoenix and who's birthday is on January 26th and finally just start enjoying our new home!

A day at the San Antonio Zoo with grandson, Brandon.
Kelli and I visited Angie on her birthday.
She was having a "good day". She and husband Randy still love the Arizona weather.

We celebrated Brandon's third birthday with his favorite superhero, "Spiderman."

Our time in San Antonio (Jan 1st-18th) passed very quickly. (Too quickly!) On January 3rd,we celebrated Don's birthday with dinner at the famous Gristmill Restuarant in the historic German town of Gruene, Texas. Gay came to visit with us for a week and she and I drove up to Bee Cave, Texas to check-out the Barnes & Noble where she will be doing a book-signing in March.
