August 2004 - Continued
I fell in love with the city of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. The lake is the center of attraction with its scenic
walking path. The prestidous resort on the shore, the inviting park, and the antique and gift shops which line main street, all make it an inviting place to live. As I mentioned before some cities use a symbol to demonstrate street art and here it's the moose.

Seattle is build on a hill similar to San Francisco. The Seattle Center, located at the top, is a remnant
of the World's Fair held there several decades ago. The lower area is the harbor where cruiseships come and go. The marketplace is full of vendors selling flowers, delicious fruit and produce, jewelry as well as craft items. We had chowder at Iver's, one of Seattle's famous seafood restuarants. We had looked forward to riding the monorail, but found the entire system was been overhauled.
