Here we are all settled into our host site at Curecanti National Recreational Area for the summer. Our co-hosts, Larry and Paige Milkins, along with their Australian Shephards, Abby and Boogy-Man are ready for duty! We're already enjoying all the area has to offer. On our days off, we've been geo-caching around Gunnison and hiking the Lower Loop trail near Peanut Lake in Crested Butte.
Don has purchased his fishing license and has already fished the Taylor River and Roaring Judy. There are tons of activies here at the Curecanti/Black Canyon/Blue Mesa Lake area such as, camping, fishing, boating, water-skiing, hiking, experiencing the Morrow Point Boat Tour, rock-climbing, mountain biking, and of coarse sight-seeing. It's a great place to vacation!
